How to Add Telugu Captions to Videos
27 October 2026 · 6 min read · CaptionFy team

Telugu captions help your videos reach viewers who watch muted and make your content accessible to more of your audience. Here is how to add them cleanly.
Choose a font that supports Telugu
Not every font includes Telugu characters. If a font lacks them, text may fall back to a different typeface or show empty boxes. Use a font with full Telugu support for native-script captions.
Generate and review
Upload your clip, choose Telugu, select Telugu script or Roman output, and generate. Review the lines, especially names and English loanwords, before styling.
Readability
Telugu script is visually dense, so give it a bit more size and line spacing than English. Fewer words per line help too.
The short version
Use a Telugu-ready font, slightly larger text and short lines for clear Telugu captions.
